Secondhand Rose Thrift Shop opened in August 2007
and just began its fifth year.
The store has improved tremendously over its short history, and
below is a list of some of our accomplishments for FY2011.

Logged 1,267 volunteer service hours, with an average of 24 hours per week

Donated 659 33-gallon bags of clothing to the local homeless shelter, Puerto Seguro

Helped 15 homeless people when the homeless shelter was closed, providing for immediate needs with clothing and available canned goods

Held a food drive that donated 250 pounds of food to the Socorro Storehouse food bank during the holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas

Provided Casa de Esperanza day program clients an opportunity to volunteer on a regular basis.
