Socorro Mental Health

INCREASING COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF

BEHAVIORAL PROBLEMS AND AVAILABLE SOLUTIONS

Message from the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Socorro Mental Health, Inc., extends its appreciation to our numerous supporters as we move forward in the changing environment of behavioral health in Socorro County and the State of New Mexico. Achievements during the past year highlighted our efforts to provide relevant programs for the community at large. Most notably, we have recently enhanced SMH’s Casa Day Program with the addition of a larger space to continue offering compassionate care in a more modern and efficient environment.

The volunteer board continues its active involvement in meeting our basic goal of providing our community with the best quality care possible under the requirements of our many programs. Monitoring SMH assets and keeping SMH on an even financial footing is particularly challenging in the current economic environment and will require ever greater attention to stability and strategic planning.
